Where to begin with this Iconic, ultra rare Supercar. It is is outstanding condition with 9H Ceramic Coating and its original Honda Alloy Wheels. It is a UK supplied and registered car with only three owners from new and a cherish NSX number plate Included.
History;
The original purchaser, a company Director, used this car as a daily driver for many years. It was originally pre-registered by the supplying dealer in February 1996. During its time with the first owner it was maintained by two of his local Honda dealers. After nearly 2 decades of daily trouble free use it developed an engine issue. He spent thousands of pounds trying to rectify the problem and, after spending a small fortune with them, his Honda dealers could not fix it. So a local racing team took on the challenge. Cutting a long story short they spent a lot of time with the car but could not solve the issue either. By this time the owner was enjoying his new daily driver, an M5, and just wanted to wash his hands of it. So in stepped VTEC Direct – Honda gurus and experts. Their original intention was to break the car but they knew it was just far too good. So they sourced a new ’97 engine with just 43k miles on. They completely overhauled the engine with new cambelt and tensioners, new water pump, new crank pulley, new clutch, new cam cover gaskets, new thermostat, and also fitted a new clutch master cylinder, new front ABS Sensors, new battery and a few more new ancillary parts. The ECU was sent away to Kaz (the go to guy for anything NSX related, the owners club forum members know him well) for a refurb. The car has 157,867 Showing on the Odometer, however, the engine has only covered 53,000 Miles.
